When you have an order for one amount, and it is exchanged to another event for a lower amount, this second order will have an "Unapplied credit" for the difference between those two orders. At any time, you may process a refund from the subsequent order for the unapplied credit. When viewing the order summary, simply click Initiate Refund to refund the Unapplied Credit.
