A request was made to send PDF tickets right to the computer's default printer. In the past, you would launch the PDF and then click print. Now, you can simply click on the printer icon from the order and the printer dialog box will automatically launch to print tickets faster for the night of an event.
It would be much better for us to be able to type our own language into the coupon box. If it were available, I would type into the box “Member Discount Code” (appearing in that magic gray vanishing text) and that would clarify things and also do away with language I have now had to create and add to our iframe to explain to people what they need to do.
In your Account Settings, click on the Checkout tab to customize the wording you prefer to see on the checkout page where customers enter a coupon code (if applicable). The default text will now say "Enter Coupon code", but you can customize it to reflect your events. You might say, "Enter School ID" or "Enter Membership Number".
Create the ability to create coupon codes that are good for specific performance days. Currently the coupon code applies to the whole event. There are days of the week that sell better than others, and we want to offer discounts for just Thursday shows for example. We also like to have our cast use their complimentary tickets early in the show to generate word of mouth referrals more quickly and want to limit those to certain performances. It would be nice to limit the coupon code by being able to choose one or more performance days in the event.
Now, you can create your own coupon code or import a spreadsheet of coupon codes and limit the coupon redemption by the day of the week. Simply choose which days of the week you want the coupon to be valid for when you create the new code.
If a Coupon is valid for all shows, it would be helpful to be able to check one box that then selects all shows to save time.
For those of you that have more than a handful of events, it can take extra and unnecessary time to check each and every event one at a time when creating a coupon. Now there is a checkbox to select all and deselect all events at once.
When searching for a customer, allow me to search by phone number or company name. Please include customer phone numbers as search key fields so that we can find someone when all we have is their phone number from caller ID.
You can now search by the last four digits of a customers phone number to easily pull up their customer record from the Customers tab. When you go to the Customers tab, choose "Phone Number" to look someone up using their Caller ID. And, when you search by "Customer Record", you can now search by Company name to retrieve all records from a specified company.
For those of you that are using our Starter or Professional plans, we now offer a barcode scanning alternative with our new "Check-in" feature from the Guest List. Login to ThunderTix on your phone, tablet or computer and navigate to your event's Guest List in its mobile friendly format. Click on the button, "Start Guest Check-in". (We've hidden this feature by default to prevent accidental "scans" which cannot be undone.) Each order's barcodes will be displayed in clickable format allowing you to check-in guests as they arrive. We'll alert you when a ticket has previouly been checked-in to help reduce fraudulent entry via duplicated tickets.
