We would like a way to organize our coupon codes. When you have multiple pages of coupons they can be hard to find. It would be nice to group them in categories that we can make ourselves.
The new coupon category feature allows you to categorize your existing or new coupons for easier searching.
Brand your thermal tickets and save on printing costs by adding your own logo as a background image to your tickets. Please bear in mind that some printers have low dots per inch (DPI) settings and may not offer the highest clarity. You can find the new thermal ticket upload under Account Settings in the Thermal tab.
I’d like to be able to search for a customer by entering only a couple of characters – for example: to search for “Jones” I would like only to enter “Jo” and all customers beginning with “JO” in their last name would come up. In some cases, our patrons have uniquely spelled last names so this would help.
Enter two letters of your customer's last name to begin our auto-complete feature for finding customers. We'll display a potential list of matches for you to select, or simply type in "Smith" and submit to find all the Smith family members in your database.
Recently, we sent out this newsletter, explaining patterns in credit card fraud. One of the ways to mitigate against fraud involves the use of a "captcha" which requires purchasers to prove they are human -- not robots. There's a second potential use for captchas: preventing robots from consuming tickets for popular, sell-out shows which quickly appear on third party reseller websites at higher prices. If you book artists that frequently sell out, you may wish to turn on this feature for all of your shows or only when tickets first go on sale. You'll find the new option in you Account's Checkout settings. Bear in mind that captchas can frustrate users, so you may not want to turn this on unless you feel it is necessary.
A request was made to send PDF tickets right to the computer's default printer. In the past, you would launch the PDF and then click print. Now, you can simply click on the printer icon from the order and the printer dialog box will automatically launch to print tickets faster for the night of an event.
It would be much better for us to be able to type our own language into the coupon box. If it were available, I would type into the box “Member Discount Code” (appearing in that magic gray vanishing text) and that would clarify things and also do away with language I have now had to create and add to our iframe to explain to people what they need to do.
In your Account Settings, click on the Checkout tab to customize the wording you prefer to see on the checkout page where customers enter a coupon code (if applicable). The default text will now say "Enter Coupon code", but you can customize it to reflect your events. You might say, "Enter School ID" or "Enter Membership Number".
