    This tutorial video explains how to perform exchanges, money transfers, refunds, and voids through your ThunderTix account for both general admission events and reserved seating events.

    We describe how to process exchanges from one performance to a new performance, or how to move a person from one seat to another, how to perform full or partial refunds for your patrons, how to void orders and how all of these interactions affect your current inventory of seats and tickets. Simply locate the order and click one of the four buttons, “Initiate Exchange”, “Initiate Refund”, “Initiate Refund to Gift Card”, and “Void”.

    Due to the different reasons why a customer might request a refund or exchange, we offer several options to perform these actions. If you want to refund the money but not the seats, simply enter the refund amount for each specific ticket or tickets, then select "Process Refund". By not selecting an amount of "tickets" to refund, your seats will not be returned to your inventory.

    If patrons cannot attend an upcoming show, we also allow them to donate the money and tickets back to you.

    Orders process by mistake may also be voided. A void automatically invalidates everything purchased and prevents the charge from ever going through. This saves gateway processing fees of the original order and additional fees from a refund.
