What is the Live Monitor Display? - Mon - Mar 18, 2019 - 7:06pm

  • The Live Monitor Display allows you to display events on a TV monitor in your entryway, or lobby. Digital events signage in your lobby is a great way to inform loyal and new customers about all your upcoming event dates and times with their availability. We’ll automatically update the event display every thirty seconds to show the latest availability. When the remaining tickets dip down to the threshold you set per event, we'll shown an alert with the limited ticket capacity.

    Patrons will see all of the upcoming events and times you've selected along with each event's corresponding image. Additionally, ThunderTix allows easy customization of the events monitor display right from your account settings.

    How to Set Up Your Live Events Monitor Display

    1. Head to your top menu and click the first icon for Public Display Settings 
    2. Click on Edit Public Display
    3. Scroll down to see the “Optional Live Monitor Display” section.
    4. Find the URL for your digital wall display.
    5. Copy and Paste that URL into your favorite browser (we recommend Chrome), connected to the Monitor.
    6. Switch the browser to “full screen” mode.
    At any point, to change the order of the events and the event times shown, click on the Manage Display text in the “Optional Live Monitor Display” section. You also have the ability to hide dates and events altogether.

    From the Manage Display window, in the input box labeled “Display Order”, enter a number to specify in what order on the page you prefer that event to appear. If you want that event listed first, enter 1 into the box, if you want the event listed second, enter 2 into the box, and so on and so forth. In the input box labeled “Number of Dates to Display”, enter in the number of event dates you want to show in the monitor display. For events that have recurring dates, or are long-running, you may choose to show the next 5 or so upcoming dates rather than a full list.
