We are a small theater and wondered if we are required to scan tickets? - Fri - Jul 15, 2016 - 10:48am

  • Scanning is definitely not required. The only implication is that your customers could duplicate their tickets thus getting two tickets for one price. 

    However, if your theater is small and utilizes reserved seating, that helps reduce the potential for fraud since only one person can fit into a single, designated seat assignment.
