How do I create an option for postal mail rather than delivering tickets electronically? - Wed - Nov 10, 2010 - 6:36pm

To create a snail mail option, just add a "postal mail" shipping option on your event with the corresponding price to mail the tickets.
- For existing events, navigate to the: Event Manager
- Click on the name of your chosen event
- Click the Shipping & Fees tab
- Click Add a new Shipping Option
- Give it a name and a price. Then, ensure that the "eTicket" is Disabled. This will automatically disable the electronic PDF ticket from being included in the confirmation email.
Shipping options can be removed at any time. You may choose to remove postal mail as the event date gets too close to get the tickets mailed in time.Sort the guest list by shipping typeThe Guest list always shows a list of customers with the selected shipping options so that you can see which customers paid to have their tickets mailed. You may also sort the guest list by shipping method so that you can see only the customers who have chosen the mail option.- You can access the Guest List by navigating to the: Event Manager
- Click on the name of your event
- Click the person icon under the Reports column
Finally, you might also want to add some text into the confirmation email header or footer stating approximately when your customers should expect to receive their tickets to help reduce questions from your customers. You can do this by navigating to: Event Manager > Manage > Ticket Delivery. The "Email Receipt" is customizable per event.
