What type of event fees would I add and where can I add them? - Sat - Nov 27, 2010 - 4:04pm

Some venues have to pay for the use of a parking lot, so they might choose to add a parking fee per order. Alternatively, you might add a “convenience” fee per ticket to help offset your own event advertising and/or publicity costs, or make a fee 'Box Office' so it is only applicable to orders done through the box office. Whatever the case, add your service fee, processing fee or any other fee per ticket or per order.
To add fees to an existing event, follow the directions below:- Head to Events >> Event Manager
- Click Manage next to the desired event
- Click on Shipping & Fees
- Click Add a new fee
- Give the fee a name and enter either a dollar value or a percentage
- Use the Dropdown menu to select whether you want the fee assessed per Ticket or per Order
- Use the Dropdown menu to select Public or Box Office (Box office fees only apply to orders made through the box office)
- Click the "disc" under the Actions column to save your fee.
To add fees to a new event, please do the following:- Head to Events >> Event Manager
- Click + Create Event
- Navigate to the Shipping and Fees tab
- Add your fee details under Optional Fees
