  • Email Validation Service (Optional Upgrade)

    ThunderTix integrates with a third-party email validation API to help ensure ticket buyers enter a deliverable email address at checkout. When this feature is enabled, the system automatically checks the format and validity of the email address in real time as the buyer types.

    How It Works

    • Real-time validation – As soon as the buyer moves out of the email field, the address is sent for validation.

    • Immediate feedback – If the address contains a typo in a common domain (e.g., gamil.com instead of gmail.com), the system will display a correction prompt.

    • Invalid entry blocking – If the address is undeliverable, improperly formatted, or otherwise invalid, the buyer is prevented from proceeding until it is corrected.

    • No order confirmation until valid – The checkout process will not allow submission until a valid email address passes verification.

    This validation reduces the risk of bounced order confirmations, misplaced tickets, and support requests related to undeliverable emails.

    Enabling Email Validation

    From your Account Settings under the Billing & Usage tab, locate Email Validation in the Upgrades section.
    Toggle this option on to activate the service for your account. Once enabled, it applies to all public checkout pages.
