Is it possible to use the same PC to sell and scan tickets with 2 different logins? - Wed - Jan 7, 2015 - 3:18pm

While it is possible to be logged in multiple times with a single user login, it is not possible to have two different users logged into the same browser. Nor would it be possible to have 2 scanners connected to a single device.
Each scanner requires its own device or computer. Since the scanner communicates with a browser and a browser can only have the cursor blinking in 1 single input field at a time, the scanner would only be able to process 1 scan at a time per browser.
While it might be possible to login to 2 different browsers with 2 different logins, they cannot both scan or sell tickets at the same time. It would require changing back and forth from one browser to another between each scan and would significantly slow down and hinder the scanning process altogether.
