When scanning with a USB enabled scanner, must I click the scan button after each scan? - Thu - Feb 5, 2015 - 2:04pm

If your scanner is set up properly, you will be able to rapidly scan one bar code after another, without having to press the Scan button. If you are not seeing a result immediately after the scan, your scanner may not be set up properly.
If you purchased a new scanner, it will have come with a "Quick Start Guide". In the guide, there is a section for applying an enter (carriage return) after each scan. Usually, you can find a manual online if you find that you have misplaced yours.
If you are using a USB-enabled scanner that you purchased from us, you may use the following links to find the "Quick Start Guide" online.

Scan the barcode that is shown after: "Enter Key Bar Code (Carriage Return/Line Feed)"
