Merge Multiple Customers at Once - Fri - Aug 2, 2019 - 11:09am

  • When customers use multiple email addresses for ticket purchases or donations, it makes it challenging to provide rewards through our Customer Loyalty Program or to find high-value buyers and donors since multiple customer records are created for each email address. Today, we’re making that easier with a Duplicate Customer Report.

    Under the Patron Database tab, click on "Possible Duplicates" to see any customers that share the same first and last name. You have the option to merge multiple customers in a single click, and they’ll be merged into a single customer record. In addition, searches for the associated emails on either the checkout page (as a logged-in user) or via the  Patron Database tab will show the newly merged customer record. All orders, donations, products, notes, etc will be combined into a single record when merged. Simply select which records are duplicates of the same person and click Merge!
