Only logged in users with the user permission, "Can perform price overrides", may comp orders and change those tickets to complimentary.

Once you have chosen your event and ticket and arrive at the checkout page, take the following steps to provide free tickets with one of two options.

    1. Click the Comp Entire Order button to immediately wipe out all charges

NOTE: In some cases, you’ll need to split tickets in order to handle the discount. For example, if you have an order of 3 General Admission tickets for $15 each and you only want to comp 1 ticket. In this case, click the button to the right of the screen that says “Split Tickets for Overrides” and you will see that each ticket will be changed to be listed on it’s own line giving you the flexibility to change just one of them from $15 to $0.

    2. Override the price field and set it to $0.

To record the reason for the comped tickets, you may add text in the field labeled "Administrative Comment". Comments will be viewable under your Orders tab.

    3. Create a coupon code for 100% off the price of a ticket and provide the coupon code to the customer.  In this case, the customer can choose their own event, date, tickets and/or seats on their own and redeem the coupon code at checkout.
