It is not possible to delete any existing orders. This is prohibited as orders, coupons, donations, events, and reports are very closely tied, thus dependent on the existence of the orders affecting those items. If you have an order that was created for testing, you can refund the tickets back to the event and refund any money from the transaction.
Similarly, there is no way to delete an event once an order exists for it. You can simply refund all orders for the existing event to start using it. Otherwise, you can create a new event (using the Replicate option from the Events Listing) to start from scratch with no orders. If you change the dates of your test event to be in the past, the event will only appear in the "Expired Events" listing.
