How to change the amount or cancel a recurring donation - Sat - Oct 23, 2021 - 5:15pm

    Recurring donations occur when a patron either signs up for a fundraising campaign with a monthly contribution, or they add a monthly recurring donation to a ticket order. We record these initial donation orders in our Recurring Donations report.

    In order to modify or review a recurring donation or to change the amount of a donation, first navigate to Giving > Recurring Donations then locate the customer by last name.

    To cancel the amount of a donation, simply click the dollar amount under the Amount column, adjust as needed, then click the check mark to save.

    To cancel a recurring donation or suspend it temporarily, under the Cancellation Date, simply click the line labeled, "Click to enter a cancellation date", then add your date and save. This will be effective immediately upon saving, so if a donation is set to recur tomorrow, entering the cancelation date for today will prevent further charges. You can return at a future date, remove the cancelation, and recurring donations will start again.

    You can click the order number under the Original Order ID column to review the initial order that set up the recurring donation.
