When you first sign up for ThunderTix, we'll provide a one-time complimentary migration of patron and order history data for all active accounts included with all plans – excluding Maintenance.

The migration of your customer data into ThunderTix can be done in two steps. First, compile a list of all your customers and their corresponding contact information.  This can include the name, email, phone, billing address, and even customer categories (tags).

To begin preparing your customers to be uploaded into ThunderTix, please follow the steps below:

    1. From Patron Database
    2. Click Import Customers
    3. Download the appropriate template
    4. Manipulate and rearrange your own data to match the template provided by column name and column order
    5. Follow the instructions laid out on the Import page regarding each data field
    6. Submit your CSV in a support request for review.

As a secondary upload, we'll transfer all of your past order history for tickets sold and donations made. These orders will correspond to the customers uploaded in the first step of data migration.  That way, when you get started with ThunderTix, you'll not only have your entire customer database pre-loaded into the CRM, but you'll also be able to see the past purchasing and donation history from your patrons.

When viewing a patron record, the imported orders will appear in a separate area to demonstrate that they took place prior to switching to ThunderTix.

At any time, you may need to import orders or donations processed outside of ThunderTix. This allows you to have accurate records regarding donations per patron combined with donations that take place within the ThunderTix fundraising platform.

Follow the instructions above and download the Order History Template to prepare your data to be uploaded.  There is a one-time charge of $75 per data import.
