  • You may optionally allow your customers to process their own ticket exchanges to save box office staff time. Further, your patrons may request a refund with a click from their confirmation emails without the need for back and forth emails. 

    To make use of these time-saving options, navigate to the Patron Database > Customer Permissions.  

    Exchanges 


    Our email order confirmations will include a link to perform a self-exchange.  Tickets (or seats) may be exchanged to any date for the same event up to a given number of days prior to the event as specified by you. Take the following steps to include these links:  

    You can enable these customer permissions by following the below steps:
    1. From Patron Database, click Customer Permissions
    2. Under EXCHANGE AND REFUND OPTIONS, enter a value for the number of days to exchange and the number of days to request a refund
    3. Enter the number of days prior to the event when the exchanges will be allowed.

    If patrons choose a more expensive date -- say, moving from a matinee to an evening performance, they will be prompted to pay any additional amount due at the final checkout. For those moving from more expensive to less expensive dates, we do not process refunds, however, you may elect to provide these at any time.

    Refunds


    Follow the same steps above to allow customers to self-request a refund. At this time, a refund request simply sends the request to the administrator of the account. The refund will not be processed automatically in order to give you the opportunity to review the request. If approved, you may process the refund at any time.

    Payments for Reservations


    To enable your customers to cancel or pay for their reservations, follow the same steps as above. You can also choose to check the following options:

    1. Include a link in reservation confirmations to allow customers to cancel their own reservations.
    2. Automatically cancel all reservations that are not paid by the specified time entered above.
    3. Allow customers to create their own reservations.
