Is ThunderTix compatible with LineaPro barcode scanners? - Mon - Dec 19, 2022 - 12:32pm

  • ThunderTix does not integrate with Linea Pro barcode scanners. Since the ThunderTix App utilizes the camera of the device, the additional scanner equipment is not needed with ThunderTix. Our goal was to provide a scanning solution for any iOS or Android device with no added charges or fees, and the LineaPro scanners would have required an added cost.

    While some ticketing platforms are compatible with the LineaPro 5 scanner attachments, these scanners won't sync with the ThunderTix IOS app. In other words, if you try to use the LineaPro 5 scanner, you will not be able to project a scan from your device to read the ThunderTix bar codes. 

    The benefit is that you don't need to use any attachments; for example, you can use the app camera on an iPod touch or other device and scan directly from there.
