Creating households of patrons in your customer database - Tue - Jan 24, 2023 - 11:09am
Connect patrons in your Patron Database to a household to tie donations together! When one member of the household makes a donation the other members of the household will receive a soft credit for the donation on their record, allowing venue staff to recognize all members of a household when appropriate!
To create a household, go to Patron Database → Groups, Orgs, & Households → Create Group or Organization, enter a name like “The Smith Family,” and choose Household as the type. Then open Members and add each person in the household.
For patron records that are added to households, the Giving Summary will update to show all donations made from patrons in that household.
You can also search for households in the patron database by going to the "Patron Information" section:
