What is an abandoned order and how can I be alerted about these occurrences? - Tue - Jan 17, 2012 - 10:45pm

An abandoned order is simply an order that was never completed. It occurs when a customer gets to the checkout page and either decides not to purchase the tickets at that time or the time runs out from the 10 minutes allowed.
We provide a feature that will send an email notification whenever an order is either abandoned or declined. It is a great tool for order recovery to touch base with the customer. For orders that have customer contact information, you’ll be able to reach out to provide assistance in processing the order on their behalf or find out more about why they decided not to check out.
To enable this free tool, please navigate to:
Account settings > Email Notifications >- Under ALERTS, click “When an order is declined or abandoned”
- Enter your preferred email(s) and hit enter between each email
Please note that those patrons who abandon an order do not get tickets.
