Email patrons directly from your patron database - Thu - Mar 21, 2024 - 6:46pm

  • For those of you that have Email Branding enabled on your account, you can email your patrons right from the patron record.  Just head to the Patron Database, click on a patron record, and click the Email this Patron button as seen in the image below.

    After clicking that button, you'll see a modal appear like the one below that is going to be sent "FROM" your email address and will be sent to your patron's email.  You can customize the email as seen below using the editor to add basic styles like bold, italics, etc.


    All emails that you send to your patrons through ThunderTix will be tracked in the new EMAILS section of their patron record. You'll see the timestamp of the email sent, the subject of the email, and be able to review the email content by clicking on the "eye" icon as seen in the image below.  


    NOTE: We are going to use the email address of the user logged into ThunderTix as the sender of the email.  If your email address is not at the same matching domain name of the company (and instead your email login is connected to gmail, hotmail, or some other free email service), the option to email the patron will be disabled for your login. Your coworkers (any users on your account) that have email addresses at the company domain will be able to utilize this feature as long as email branding is enabled. As an example, for a domain name of ThunderTix, boxoffice@thundertix.com, user1@thundertix.com, user2@thundertix.com, etc. would all be able to utilize this feature.
