How can I process a refund after an exchange to an order at a lesser cost? - Thu - Jul 25, 2024 - 3:33am

When you have an order for one amount, and it is exchanged to another event for a lower amount, this second order will have an "Unapplied credit" for the difference between those two orders.
At any time, you may process a refund from the subsequent order for the unapplied credit. When viewing the order summary, simply click Initiate Refund to refund the Unapplied Credit back to the original payment method.
In addition, you have the option to Refund the Unapplied Credit to a Gift Card. By doing this, an eGift Card Code for the value of the unapplied credit will be generated and sent to the customer. Like all gift cards, the gift card code will not expire. If the unapplied credit was created in error, you may choose to covert the credit to a gift card and then change the balance of the gift card value to $0 to wipe out the credit completely.
