What information do I need to create an event? - Tue - May 20, 2025 - 11:36am

When you are creating an event, the Finish button is not "clickable" or available until all of the required information has been entered. Any field that has missing information will be red. Once all required information has been entered, you will be able to click the Finish button.The only required fields for an event are:
- Event Name
- Event date
- Event time
- Ticket Type name
- Ticket price
Everything else is optional to create a more comprehensive event display, but will not affect the ability to Finish and save your event.
If you are missing ANY of the above fields, the Finish button will be missing. For further details, take a look at our Creating Your Event tutorial video.
