How do I add guests to an event without charging them for the tickets? - Wed - Jul 9, 2025 - 1:37pm

At times, attendees will show up (sponsors, friends and family of the performers, etc.) and you need to add them to the guest list. This allows you to have an accurate head count for your event across all tickets -- paid and comped. The easiest way to do this would be to comp their tickets and enter in their name during the checkout process.
If you are logged in to ThunderTix, and you are not collecting money for the ticket, you can quickly process the order without entering the billing information fields. Simply type in the person's first name, and last name, so that they show up on the guest list.
To add a guest to an event,
1. Head to Event Manager > click on the name of the desired event
2. Click 'Sell'.
3. Enter the quantity of tickets you need and click 'Continue'. Make sure to leave the donations field blank if you have a donation option at checkout.
4. Change the price to $0 for each ticket.
5. Enter in the guest's info and click 'Quick Checkout'. They will then be added to the Guest List.
