What text should go where in my gift certificate emails? - Wed - Jul 16, 2025 - 5:44pm

If you have decided to use gift certificates within ThunderTix, you have the option to customize both the purchaser's email receipt and also the recipient's notification email. There are a few text areas, described in more detail below. You'll see the template and then an example of how it displays in the email itself.
Purchaser's email receipt
The purchaser's email receipt will include both the top and bottom sections of text (if included) in the For the purchaser section. Please note that the "The gift certificate was delivered." will automatically display.

Recipient's email receipt
The recipient's email receipt will include what is in the For the recipient section. If an additional message is included during the purchase process, it will also display. Note that the "You received a gift card! To redeem..." will automatically display for the recipient.
