Patron Database Update! - Wed - Aug 27, 2025 - 3:29pm

  • Newest addition:

You can now target your outreach more precisely with enhanced Patron Search filters. Venue admins can search for customers based on event genres (one or multiple), and a specific ticket purchase date range!

This makes it easy to find all customers who purchased tickets to events with a certain genre (e.g., “Musical,” “Comedy,” “Youth Theatre”) within any time period you choose—perfect for segmented marketing campaigns and donor outreach.

First, select the genre you would like to search for (or multiple genres)

Then, select a date range to search for customers who have made a purchase:

This will filter any clients within a specific genre who have purchased tickets in whatever date range you desire:

How to Use the Updated Patron Database Search!

ThunderTix now offers a more powerful way to search and segment your patrons. Instead of being limited to a single search criteria, you can now layer multiple filters to quickly build targeted patron lists for marketing, fundraising, and reporting.

    Exciting Features:

    • Layered filters: Combine multiple criteria (e.g., attendance + donation level + membership) for precise results.

    • Expanded categories: Search by orders, packages, donations, attendance, memberships, location, and more.

    • Marketing integration: Export your search results or send directly to Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or ThunderTix Mass Mail.

Let's test it out!  First, open the Patron Database Search:

    1. Navigate to Patron Database> CRM & Mass Mail

    2. Use the filters in the left-hand panel to begin building your query.
