Gift Cards Can Now Be Applied to Orders with a Remaining Balance


We’ve improved how gift cards work when completing orders with an outstanding balance.


You can now apply a gift card to an order even if a partial payment has already been processed. This allows you to:


• Take a partial payment when a patron does not have their gift card code available
  
  
• Apply the gift card later once the code is located
  
  
• Complete group reservations more easily when guests are paying separately

When you have an order that already has partial payments open, you can apply the gift card code in the green box that labeled "gift card" and it will be applied to the order.





You can always review each payment in a multiple payment order by clicking "See payments":




This update removes that limitation and better supports real-world box office and phone order workflows.
