How do I make it more clear that our customers are receiving a discount by purchasing in advance? - Tue - Oct 9, 2012 - 3:23pm

First, consider modifying the ticket type name and/or the ticket type description to include the word(s) 'Advanced Ticket', 'Advanced Purchase', or even 'Early Bird' so that the customer knows that they are getting a deal by purchasing online in advance of the event. Second, you should add the pricing details with cut-off dates into the event description so that your customers see the pricing and when prices will increase at a glance. Last, make sure it's clear that prices will be the highest on the day of the event for walk-up sales. To edit your event description:
- Head to the: Event Manager
- Click on the name of your event
- Click Public Display
- From Event Information in the left menu, scroll down to EVENT DESCRIPTION and edit.
To edit your ticket type description:- Head to the: Event Manager
- Click on the name of your event
- Click Select then Tickets and Prices for any performance
- Click the pencil icon next to the ticket type you would like to edit
- You can then edit the ticket name (to something like 'Early Bird') and edit the ticket type description under the Description column
- Click the checkmark icon to save your changes
