For reserved seating events, the event capacity is set based on the number of seats on the seating chart. Any performance can have its capacity reduced, but it cannot exceed the event capacity. 

To reduce the available seats for sale in a reserved seating event, you can block the seats from being purchased. Please follow this discussion for more information:


How can I block out seats without making an actual purchase? 

To change your general admission event's capacity: 


1. Head to the: Event Manager
2. Click Manage on the desired event
3. Click Purchase Settings
4. In the left menu, under Restrictions and Waitlist, check the EVENT CAPACITY. Click on the value shown to change it. 
5. Click the checkmark to save.





The event's capacity -- if changed -- is the default performance capacity. Again, a performance's capacity can be reduced from the event's capacity, but it cannot exceed it. To change your performance capacity: 


1. Head to the: Event Manager
2. Click Manage
3. Find the date you wish to change and click on the value listed in the Capacity column.
4. Change the value.
5. Click the check mark to save.
If you are attempting to raise the Performance capacity but are unable, review your Event capacity to ensure you are not exceeding it.
