How can I block out seats for an event or performance? - Fri - Aug 17, 2012 - 11:27am

All blocking and unblocking are now done from the Purchase screen. Please note that the user must have EITHER permission to Edit Events, and/or to Edit Performances.
Please follow the steps below:- Click on Events > Event Manager
- Click the Manage button next to the event you wish to edit
- Click the Sell button next to any performance
- Hover over the seat you wish to block and right-click on it
- Choose from the list of options:
- Block seat - Blocks the seat for the performance you have selected
- Block all seats - Block all seats in this section for the performance you have selected
- Block this row - Block all seats in this row for the performance you have selected
- Unblock all seats - Unblocks all seats in this section for the performance you have selected
- Block this Seat in All Performances - Blocks the seat for all performances in this event
- Unblock all seats in all performances - Unblocks all seats in this section for all performances of the event.
Once you have chosen the method, you will see the seat(s) turn grey. This means that they are blocked until you choose to unblock them by using the same process as above. In addition, you can follow along on the process with the video tutorial on managing reserved seating events:
