How do I assign different pricing to each section of my seating chart? - Tue - Jun 19, 2012 - 3:26pm

  • Make sure you have an event with the seating chart assigned to the event with base ticket types to start with. By default, when an event is created with a seating chart, all sections will automatically be priced using the values entered at event creation. You can follow along with the video tutorial below or the step-by-step instructions beneath.

    If you have more than one section and need to set varied pricing per section, do the following: 

    1. Click on Events >> Event Manager 
    2. Click on the name of the Event you'd like to edit ticket types for 
    3. You’ll immediately be taken into the Dates & Times to see a list of all performances
    4. Click Select under Actions > Tickets and Prices
    5. Select a section from the drop-down menu
    6. The section pricing will immediately load and display on the screen for editing
    7. Use the red trash icon to delete any prices that do not apply to THIS section
    8. Once you have made your edits, check the box that reads “Apply Prices to this Section for All performances if applicable, and then click Apply Ticket Prices

    Repeat for all of your sections and you will have successfully assigned pricing to your sections. It is always a good idea to go through the order process to make sure you have updated each section. No need to complete an order, just choose your seats and continue on to the pricing page to make sure that you have the correct prices showing. Please see
