Where can I select our seating chart to a new event I created? - Wed - Mar 27, 2013 - 5:15pm

Once the event is created, you can change the seating from General Admission to your seating chart as long as no tickets had already been sold.
To change the seating configuration for an event, please do the following:- From your Event Manager >> Click on the name of the event you'd like to change the seating configuration for
- Click Public Display
- Navigate to the Seating Configuration tab on the left menu, you can click on the existing seating type to change it. Once the new chart is selected, it should be immediately saved.
NOTE: If tickets have been sold on the event, even test transactions, you will not be able to edit the event to change to Reserved Seating. In this case, either create a new event or replicate the existing event. Here are steps for this process:
1. Navigate to your Event Manager
2. Click on 'Select' underneath the Actions column > Replicate
3. Follow the steps to replicate the event
4. Update the seating chart (Public Display >> Seating Configuration >> click on the "Current Seating" option and use the dropdown to choose the correct seating chart >> click the blue check mark to save your changes).
5. Process exchanges for any sold tickets from the original event. Our Exchanges, Refunds, and Voids tutorial video will help with this. If you jump to 33 seconds in the video, you'll be directly at the "Exchanges" portion.
