Why is my seating chart inactive? - Wed - Oct 20, 2021 - 12:56pm

  • With new and improving seating chart technology, you may find that your older seating charts are not available to you for new events. If you go to your Seating Charts page, you'll probably see that they are no longer active. The seating charts (shown as Type: Original or Tiered on your Seating Charts page) are now a bit outdated, and we have since upgraded our seating chart technology.

    How are these venue layouts different?

    The upgraded seating charts are much more mobile-friendly, allowing tickets buyers to see the entire map in a single view without having to click back to choose another section.  At the same time, it's more mobile friendly for today's smartphones allowing customers to use pinch and pull technology to zoom in and out of the chart.  Finally, we can add additional labels and icons that may be pertinent in the selection of seats.  We can include labels for Exits, Restrooms, Lobby, Bar, Stairs, Sound Booths, and more! 

    All that said, we are working to rebuild each and every one of these charts with our latest reserved seating technology. That way, you can utilize the new charts for your new events. 

    What do I need to do?

    1. Please submit a support request letting us know which seating chart(s) you want to use 
    2. Include any changes that need to be made different from the last chart
    3. Include labels for Exits, Restrooms, Lobby, Bar, Stairs, Sound Booths, etc. in a file of the chart 
    4. If your seating chart has a balcony, please indicate at which row the Balcony overhangs the main floor 
    5. Share your timeline for when your event needs to go on sale
