Can customers share their ticket purchase on Facebook or other social media? - Fri - Jan 24, 2025 - 4:31pm
-
At the end of every purchase from a customer, we show an "overlay" that suggests they share their purchase on either Facebook or Twitter. When they click on those links, it automatically includes the event link that they had just bought tickets for. In addition, buttons to share the purchase on Facebook and Twitter are included again in the email receipt. If your event includes an image, it will pull in the event image to the share on the Facebook post. For Twitter, we automatically customize the "tweet" to say "I just bought tickets to X event..." which includes a link to the event to inspire more purchases.
Turn off social sharingSocial Sharing can be disabled across the entire account from the Templates > Confirmation Email tab of your account. Simply edit the Email template and uncheck the option labeled "Social Sharing" to disable it in both the email and at the end of the purchase.
