How Billing Works in ThunderTix
ThunderTix billing runs on a monthly cycle. Here’s what that means for your organization:1. When Invoices Are Generated- Your invoice is created at the moment the monthly charge is processed. All funds from ticket sales and fees collected are deposited directly into your payment gateway. ThunderTix then invoices your organization separately for the monthly subscription fee and any additional tickets sold over the 20 included in your subscription.
- There isn’t a review or pre-approval process before billing.
2. What’s Included on the Invoice- The invoice is based on the previous month’s activity.
- It’s fully itemized, so you’ll see a breakdown of:
- Ticket sales volume
- Donations
- Merchandise sales
- Other applicable charges
- Ticket sales volume
3. How to Track Usage During the Month- You can always see your ticket count in the left column after logging into your ThunderTix account.
- While this gives you visibility into ticket volume, it does not include donations or merchandise totals mid-month.
- You can see other items like donations, merchandise sales, gift cards etc. on your reconciliation report- which can be downloaded month by month.
4. Getting Support with Billing- Each month’s invoice is emailed directly to your billing contact for full transparency.
- If you ever have questions or concerns about your charges, our team is happy to help—just reach out to Support for clarification.
NOTE: ThunderTix does not collect, hold, or process any of your ticket revenue at any point. Every dollar from your ticket sales goes directly into your payment gateway (Stripe, Authorize.net, Square, etc.), and from there straight to your bank account according to your gateway’s deposit schedule. Because ThunderTix never touches your money, our platform fees are billed separately on your monthly invoice rather than deducted from ticket sales. - Your invoice is created at the moment the monthly charge is processed.
