What is Class Manager, and how do I get started selling classes? - Fri - Oct 9, 2026 - 1:40pm

Class Manager is ThunderTix’s tool for selling classes, camps, workshops, and any program that meets on multiple dates, such as dance semesters, theatre camps, and weekly workshops. It is currently in Beta.

Classes are separate from Events. Do not create an event or performance for a class. Enrollments use their own checkout flow, similar to memberships.

Where to find it: Log in to your admin site and go to Classes (labeled BETA) > Class manager. The Classes menu also includes Calendar, which shows all class sessions.

Related settings:

  • Shared class waivers: Forms > Class waivers
  • Class surveys: Forms > Surveys, using the Classes registration survey type
The Class manager page lists your offerings under Upcoming and Expired. Select Create class to start a new program, or select a class name to open it. An in-app Classes tutorial appears on your first visit and can be reopened from Class Manager at any time.

Requirements: Your account must use Stripe as your payment gateway. Without Stripe, Class Manager shows a Connect Stripe page instead of the create and edit tools. The account owner or primary user can connect Stripe. ThunderTix bills $1 per enrollment and 2% of the class.

Key terms:

  • Class offering: The program you sell (name, description, dates, capacity, cover image).
  • Series: A weekly recurring program, such as Fall Ballet on Tuesdays for 16 weeks.
  • Camp: A program on consecutive days, such as Summer Acting Camp, Monday through Friday.
  • Class session: One meeting time (date, start and end time, optional location).
  • Enrollment tier: A pricing option, such as Early Bird or Regular.
  • Enrollment: One person registered in a tier.
  • Guardian: The patron who registers and pays (parent, caregiver, or the attendee).
  • Participant: The person attending, either the guardian or a dependent on the guardian’s account.
Minimum setup to open enrollment: Stripe connected, Series or Camp selected, a name and start date, at least one session, at least one enrollment tier, and Publish turned on. Capacity, age range, waivers, surveys, and a registration fee are optional.
