Should I set up my class as a Series or a Camp? - Fri - Oct 9, 2026 - 3:38pm

The offering type controls how ThunderTix generates the class schedule.

Series: Best for weekly classes over a semester or term (example: Fall Ballet, Tuesdays for 16 weeks). The schedule generator creates one session per week on the weekday of the start date.

Camp: Best for intensive, multi-day programs (example: Summer Acting Camp, Monday through Friday). The schedule generator creates one session per day from the start date through the end date. Select Weekdays only to skip weekends.

Important:

  • The offering type cannot be changed after the first patron enrolls. Change it before anyone enrolls. If it must be corrected afterward, contact ThunderTix Support.
  • The Series generator supports one weekday only. For a class that meets twice a week (such as Monday and Wednesday), generate the first weekday, then add the other sessions manually with Add session.
