How can I have customers added to MailChimp or Constant Contact automatically? - Thu - Mar 26, 2015 - 12:02pm

    First, you'll need to add your MailChimp API key to your account settings. Read our guide on Mailchimp Integration.

    Once your Mailchimp and/or Constant Contact account is connected to ThunderTix, we can automatically send patron data to your email service as purchases are made.

    First, create your email lists in your email accounts. Then take the following steps.

    How to connect your external email service when creating a new event and send patron data automatically

    1. Head to: Events > Event Manager > Create Event
    2. Under Marketing Options, you will see a list of your Constant Contact and/or MailChimp audiences. 
    3. Check the box(es) of any audience(s) to which you want purchasers to be added. 
      Note that only purchasers who opt in to your mailing list will be subscribed.

    How to connect your external email service to existing events and send patron data automatically
     
    1. Head to Events > Event Manager
    2. Click Manage
    3. Click on the Marketing tab 
    4. Check the box(es) of the list(s) you wish the purchasers of this event to be added to.
