Does each user need their own login to scan tickets? - Sun - Apr 3, 2016 - 5:51pm

It is suggested that each usher scanning tickets have their own assigned username for security reasons. Because the function of performing a "forgot password" requires the use of an email, individual emails are necessary for each login. When tickets are scanned, we record which user scanned those tickets for reporting purposes. When you create a new user that will only be scanning tickets, by default, they will only have the ability "Can scan barcodes" enabled in the tab labeled "Specified Permissions".
Creating each user, volunteer, or staff member their own login is also vital in keeping reports accurate and tracking sales in ThunderTix.
