Do you provide a way to offer “Pay what you can” tickets? - Tue - Mar 31, 2020 - 5:33pm

If you would like to offer your patrons the opportunity to purchase “Pay what you can” (PWYC) -- that is, a flexible price that allows them to pay an amount with which they are comfortable, then take advantage of our newest ticket type with PWYC. To add a new PWYC ticket:
- Navigate to: Event Manager > Manage
- Hover over the Date & Time to which you'd like to add the new ticket
- Click "Manage Tickets and Prices"
- Click the "Add Another Ticket" link
- Add your new ticket by creating a name, adding a minimum price and checking the box for PWYC.
You can add PWYC tickets alongside other ticket types for your customers to purchase. Customers may purchase the new PWYC ticket option as long as they meet the minimum price you request. You can even set the minimum price to $0 for free tickets while allowing generous patrons to pay more. The PWYC ticket type is a great way to keep your doors open to a wider audience. PWYC, or flexible pricing, enables more ticket sales and opens up the opportunity for your more financially stable guests to open up their wallets and support your venue or event during challenging times. Further, as a venue or box office manager, PWYC payments may help you to get a sense of what your patrons are willing to pay early on to provide insight into the pricing in the future.
