Upgrading your seating chart to the newest version - Thu - May 21, 2020 - 6:23pm

  • The new seating charts include many improvements. They can show all sections at once including hybrid layouts of rows and tables. Sections may be shown on an angle, and the layout can include custom shapes and labels for stairs, exits, sound booths, and more. They utilize "pinch and pull" on mobile devices for enhanced user experience and load significantly faster.

Supporting older versions of reserved seating charts

As we continue to offer new features and functions which are included with your account, we will begin to migrate away from older seating charts, and only the newest version of the seating charts will be supported for our iOS and Android apps.

What does it cost to upgrade my seating chart?

We're providing discounts who wish to utilize the new chart design by rebuilding existing charts. Please visit "Seating Charts" from the left menu and submit a new seating chart request. We will provide a quote for your approval.

How can you identify the type of chart you are using?

On the seating chart setup guide, the second type of seating chart shows seats individually by section. If your seating chart uses an image to select a section and then shows only the selected section, then it's an older version of the reserved seating capability and it may be a good time to consider upgrading. If your seats are shaped as "circles", then you're already on the latest version. If your seats are still displayed as squares, you're on one of the two older versions. If you already upgraded your seating chart to show all sections in one view, but your seats are still squares, we'll work with you in order to have the latest technology available. Below is an example of the latest seating chart display with all sections combined, angled seats, and a custom stage.
