Virtual event options - Tue - Jun 9, 2020 - 5:40am

  • If you're holding a virtual event, you'll want to use our new Virtual Event settings so customers can clearly identify virtual from traditional events. To get started, you may either create a new event and use the new Virtual Event pane, or you may edit an existing event and designate it as a virtual event. All events will be displayed with a new banner designating it as a virtual event.

    There are two different options available from the Virtual Events settings:

    1. Zapier integration for Zoom webinars - Our new Zapier integration streamlines the process of registering attendees for Zoom webinars. As purchases are made, all attendee information will automatically be submitted to Zoom. Zoom handles the attendee notification process. This does require the webinar add-on from Zoom, as the basic Zoom app does not allow for attendee registration. Our Zapier setup guide and our Zoom integration for Zapier guide will get you started.

    2. Other - If you're using another external service such as Google Meet or another service, use this option to display the Virtual Event banner. Our current Zapier integration may facilitate attendee registration, so please search Zapier for the video service you are using.

    Alternatively, create a feature request for the integration you need.
