Can I create a section in the seating chart that is available only to season ticket holders? - Wed - Jul 13, 2011 - 12:14pm

Since we now offer the ability to create a reserved seating season package, with a little workaround, you can offer a segmented number of seats to customers purchasing a package.
- First, create all of your events with a seating chart and make sure they are private.
- Then, Manage your event to "block" seats from sale that are not for season ticket buyers.
- Repeat the above for each of the events included in the season package.
- Create a package with the same seating chart assigned for your season's events and include the desired events. Make it private for now while you are testing.
- From the Packages tab, click "Sell" when logged into your account and check to see that all seats you blocked in the events are also blocked in the package.
- If only the desired seats are available for sale on the package, you can edit the package to make it public when you are ready.
- When the time for purchasing season packages ends and you want to open up single events for sale, simply manage the events and unblock the seats. Activate and make public single events as desired.
