Can a coupon be limited to only a certain section in my seating chart? - Wed - Aug 17, 2011 - 2:03am

All types of coupons, including "buy one, get one free" (or BOGOs) can be applied to specific events, performances, ticket types or tickets by reserved seating section within a seating chart. However, this option is only available if your seating chart already has custom ticket prices assigned to separate sections of the layout.
To create a coupon for a specific section of your custom venue seating chart:- Head to: Revenue Builders > Coupons
- Click Create Coupon
- Under the heading "Select valid events and performances", and find an event that has tiered pricing by seat location (seating chart section)
- Use the "plus sign" + to open up the list of performances
- Use the "plus sign" + again to open up the list of ticket types for that performance. From there, you'll see all ticket types listed by section of the chart.
- Check the box next to any ticket type and section where you want the coupon will be valid.
- Enter remaining details
- Click Create Coupon
Please see the coupons video tutorial for more information and options.
