How can I create a coupon that allows for only a single use? - Thu - Nov 11, 2010 - 1:40pm
-
- Head to: Revenue Builders > Coupons
- Click Create New Coupon
- Select Create Code
- Create a unique coupon code. This is what your customers will enter on the checkout page.
- Create a name for the coupon.
- Click "Select Valid Events and Performances
- Check the box next to the appropriate event <br /> If the coupon is valid for only some performances or specific ticket types, click the plus sign under the event rather than checking the box next to the event. Then, check the Selected performances or ticket types.
- If the coupon is valid for specific days of the week, check those boxes
- Next, under the Maximum Value of Redemptions, Select 'Single Use'
- Then, under the Coupon Value and how it should be applied, choose the discount type.
- Click Create Coupon
And, viola! You have a coupon that can only be used one time for either a single event or once across a select number of events.
