How do I allow an existing coupon to work for a new event? - Mon - Aug 6, 2012 - 11:38am

    To allow a new or existing event to use a coupon previously created for another event, take the following steps: 

    1. Head to: Revenue Builders > Coupons
    2. Search for the coupon you wish to modify
    3. Click the edit link
    4. Under the tab, 'Select valid events and performances', choose the new event for which you wish the coupon to be applied by clicking the checkbox
    5. Click Update Coupon

    You can now test the coupon for the given event. 
    1. Head to:Events > Event Manager
    2. Follow the purchase process for the given event.
    3. Enter the coupon code in the box on the checkout page.
    4. When you see the checkout page automatically update with the coupon's savings and new dollar amount, you have confirmed the coupon works as desired.
    5. Click "Cancel Order" to ensure the coupon code isn't redeemed and is immediately released. This prevents you from having to wait the 10 minutes for the order to expire.
