How do I increase the capacity on a general admission event? - Wed - Dec 22, 2021 - 4:09pm

  • The capacity of a general admission event can be adjusted at any time. 

    For general admission events, it is recommended to leave the capacity on your ticket types blank unless you have a limited number of a single ticket. For example, you may only sell 20 VIP tickets. When leaving the capacities on your ticket types blank, the event will use the event capacity. 

    To raise the event capacity, please follow the below steps:
    1. Head to Events, click Event Manager 
    2. Click on the name of your event
    3. Click the Purchase Settings tab
    4. Adjust the event capacity under Restrictions and Waitlist >> EVENT CAPACITY

    To increase an individual performance capacity, please follow the below steps:
    1. Head to Events, click Event Manager 
    2. Click on the name of your event 
    3. Click the set capacity under the Capacity column and adjust the capacity 
    4. Click the blue checkmark to save your changes 
     
    If you have set a capacity on your tickets and they do not match the capacity you have set for your event, you will receive the below message:



    To remove or adjust the capacity on your ticket types, please follow the below steps:
    1. Head to Events, click Event Manager 
    2. Click on the name of your event
    3. Click Select under the Actions column then Tickets and Prices 
    4. Click the pencil icon under the Actions column
    5. Adjust the capacity, or remove it entirely 
    6. Click the disk under Actions to save your changes (Note: if you have more than one performance, remember to select Apply Prices to All Performances and then Apply Ticket Prices)
