What if my event expired too early? How can I get it back online for customers? - Wed - Apr 29, 2015 - 9:07am
-
There are two ways that an event might have been set to expire too early. The Expiration Date or the actual event date.
Changing the Expiration Date- Head to Events > Event Manager
- Click Manage > Public Display > Event Information
- Under IMPORTANT SALE DATES, check the date entered for "Tickets removed from sale on"
- If the date and/or time is in the past, change it to a date/time in the future
Changing the Event Date- Head to Events > Event Manager
- Click Manage
- If you do not see your event listed under Dates & Times, you will need to use the Calendar field beneath Dates & Times image.png 4.16 KB
Choose a date in the past like one week ago or one month ago and then choose an ending date of today. You'll see the full date range become "highlighted".- Click Apply on the calendar
- Click the Search button
- If you don't see your event appear, you may have to go back further to find when the date had originally been set.
- Once you see the event, you will see the Date or the "Database Date" that had been saved which needs to be changed. Click on the date to edit it.
- Choose the correct date when the performance is taking place or the date until you need the event to be visible.
- Click on 'Apply' to save your changes.
Doing either of the above changes should bring your event back online for customers to be able to purchase again.
