Is an ADA wheelchair seat considered an aisle seat for the single seat function? - Tue - Feb 7, 2023 - 1:05pm

You can prevent single seats from left empty in the middle of the row but you allow a single seat to be left open on the aisle.
This single seat function considers seats to the left and right of each immediate side of a seat. On some seating charts, ADA seats have additional "space" or seats missing next to them. In these instances, it is allowing purchasing of the ADA seat leaves the seats beside them empty. As you can see from the image below, the seat to the right of the ADA seat isn't immediately next to the wheelchair seat, so the single seat option functions differently than if the seats were truly side-by-side.
