Why aren't my fees being charged at checkout? - Wed - Apr 12, 2023 - 12:52pm

  • If you've added fees to your event -- either per ticket or per order -- and they are not appearing on the order at checkout, check your ticket setup. Conversely, if you want to automatically wave a given fee on a particular ticket, such as waving fees on free tickets, you can follow similar instructions.

    When you create your tickets and prices, there is a checkbox per ticket to "Waive Fees" (created from this feature request: Automatically waive fees by ticket type).




    If you want fees to be charged on all of your tickets, make sure that you do NOT check the box titled "Waive Fees".  

    If you review your tickets and find that the Waive Fees option is enabled, just click the pencil icon for that ticket and uncheck the box for Waive Fees.  Make sure that you click the "disc" icon to save your ticket changes.  

    Run a test transaction for that event after making changes to ensure that all fees are being assessed as expected on the checkout page.  You can click "Cancel Order" at the bottom of the checkout page once you've confirmed the pricing is correct.
