How do I make a donation request? Can I customize the donation wording? - Tue - Dec 6, 2011 - 12:52pm

    For any event, you have the ability to enable optional donations.

    When you create the event, under the Event Listing tab, after filling out your Event Basics (such as your event's Name, Ticket Types, Date & Time, etc.) scroll to the bottom and click on the menu bar titled Other Options, then, under Donations, check the box that says "Would you like to accept donations for this event?" Lastly, you can customize your donation request in the text box below.

    If the event has already been created then navigate to the:
     
    1. Events Manager
    2. Under the Donations column, click the toggle from Off to On to enable donations on your event. 
    3. Once donations are turned On, a modal will appear allowing you to customize the donations request wording. In addition, you can choose if you'd like specific fundraising campaigns to be tied to this event. 
    4. Click Save when finished.

    The donations are solicited upon check out (when the patron is hopefully feeling generous and has their credit card handy). The donation is an open-ended amount. For more information, please see this link: How-To Guide: Fundraising Campaigns
